Do you love to write?
Do you want to write but don’t?
Do you write regularly but desire some different stimulation?
If you are a new writer, a stuck writer or an accomplished writer, Writers Inspired by Nature – Nature Embodied will take you to new depths and insights in the company of other women writers inspired by horses, wide pastures, big skies and nearby foothills.
Nature Embodied is the second of our three-part series for Writers Inspired by Nature. In this workshop, we immerse ourselves in our multiple senses to connect with the natural world around us.
Louise Thayer, horse and dog trainer, poet and photographer, leads us in rich explorations of the spoken, written and imagined word.
How will our meditative experiences fuel and inform our writing? We write fast. We write contemplatively. We listen to Louise read to us. We discuss what we’ve heard and felt. We meditate among the horses. We rest our eyes to learn what we might smell, taste, feel and hear on a horse ranch that is also sanctuary to other domesticated and wild creatures. Then we write our hearts out.
